We launch with the First Friday Art Walk Sequim Patron Preview of creative vendors and ‘Propagation’ a music performance by Alan B. Brock-Richmond.

2016 Innovative Arts and Crafts Fair at the Sequim

2016 will be the 26th year for the Arts and Crafts Fair and is a 2 day event that provides an opportunity for vendors to sell their handcrafted wares. Recycle, Reuse and Repurpose are an underlying theme of the Innovative Arts and Crafts Fair which will have demonstrations throughout Saturday and Sunday, as well as an Innovative Reuse Showcase and Contest. Over 30 vendors make this event a mainstay of the Irrigation Festival. In addition to the crafts vendors, enjoy a selection from our food vendors and enjoy our main stage entertainment.

Sequim Seigaiha – Calm Waves with Lavender

Red to purple Japanese Waves with lavender.

Red to purple Japanese Waves with lavender.

I created my own “Seigaiha” Japanese Wave Pattern for silk fabric. This is the red to purple design covered with fresh stems of Sequim lavender that will become silk scarves. I’ll be selling these during the Sequim Lavender Farm Faire at Purple Haze Lavender Farm July 19 – 21, 2013.

FAQ to Renne: Do superheroes wear tights?

Question: Do all supeheroes have to wear tights?

Answer: No, they don’t. But, clearly I do. I love tights! Always have, always will! This is a photo of some of my tights on the bed after doing laundry.

A side question I always get, “Where’s your cape?” No capes! I think Edna from The Incredibles made this very clear why you would not want to wear one. As a superhero you have to think style and safety!
