I did this chart for my Intro to Excel class at Peninsula College and then used it as a demonstration for my Website Design Basics class on how the “publicize” feature works with a WordPress blog.
Yeah, double dipping!
Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide by Jonathan Feinberg. You can customize the layout, font, and colors to create this visual pile of words giving the most used a sizable supremacy from any site that has a RSS feed or prose you wish to paste in.
This is the word cloud from my renneemiko blog and clearly one color is standing out. And, you thought it would be orange…
Go play with your words and be inspired to add more today!
I am doing a series of color studies of my tights. I love the moiré pattern created when I wear two different colored tights together. I have been wanting to do this series for awhile and I don’t always to shoot them each day. I hope to capture the playful and visual interference. Just another delightful way I take joy in physics principles every day.
I have always worn tights. It is hard to express the appeal they have for me beyond the color, warmth, shine, quantum mechanics, and protective force field they create. Of course, being a superhero, they could be considered a requirement. I’ll share them as they come along.
Question: Why do you wear red eye shadow?
Answer: Why not? I have been wearing red eye shadow for over 25 years. And, it isn’t easy to stay in stock. Back in 1988, I was so excited when I had a custom set of eye shadows made for me that were yellow, orange, and red with mica sparkles. Of course, I have newer shadows and sometimes blushes to don on my lids. They are the same set of colors that I wear today, sometimes magenta, pink, or coral instead of red to match my outfit.
But, why red? It could be the Japanese geisha look. It could be my war paint. It could because am a fiery Aries. It could be I love bright colors that inspire bees to seek out imperative pollen from radiant blooms. It could be that looking somewhat like a clown confuses people when I am so serious. It could be how the red makes my hazel eyes pop. It could be I delight in the double takes and smiles I get from people who find the world is full of wonder, variety, and unique forms of expression.
