DEADLINE May 27 at NOON.

The film festival showcases persuasive, passionate, and poignant short video and animation productions by Peninsula College students. Many filmmakers have earned or are earning the Short-Term Certificate in Digital Video at Peninsula College. Multimedia Communications Program Coordinator and Instructor Renne Emiko Brock-Richmond will host a Q & A with the students and share about the Digital Video courses offered at Peninsula College.

Exploring documentary styles, filmmaking, directing, and production management, the Digital Video Certificate provides students with beginning and advanced digital video skills while learning to plan, film, edit, and stream short digital videos on the internet. They produce documentary shorts that capture a story to achieve informational or emotional ends and share their work as part of the Peninsula College Spring Arts Week and Magic of Cinema.

Donations encouraged. Admission is FREE.

What is your incentive?

Peninsula College Multimedia Communications Digital Video

What motivates you? For my Peninsula College Media 145 Directing and Production class, their first video assignment is a 30 second Incentive video about what personally motivates students into action. I always encourage the use of humor in these projects and Josue’s video is still one of my favorites. Enjoy! http://youtu.be/u6iMRAeKxOk
